knotLightは、アートアンドプログラム株式会社が展開するプロダクトブランド「aprg®」が開発した、ひも状のポータブルライトです。コントローラーとなるデバイスと、発光するストリングの2つのパーツで構成されており、バッテリーを内蔵しているためどこへでも持ち運ぶことができます。ファッションデザイナーを含む開発チームが「普段のコーディネートに自然に溶け込む光」を追い求めた結果、ひもという親しみやすいかたちにたどり着きました。

knotLight is a wearable, string-shaped portable light developed by aprg®, the product brand of Art and Program Inc. The device consists of two components — a compact controller unit and an illuminated string — that work together to bring light wherever you go. Inspired by a fashion designer's search for a light that could naturally integrate into everyday outfits, the team explored many possibilities before landing on the cord itself as the ideal medium. The result is a soft, flexible light source that feels at home in any context, from fashion to interior design to outdoor activity.
