私たちはどのようにしてよりグリーン（持続可能な）生活を学べるのでしょうか？太陽光で発電することは気持ちの良い体験ですが、曇りの日に生活習慣を変える方法を学ばなければ、結局は普段通り電力会社から電気を買うことになります。Flying Sengokuharaでは、エネルギーの使い方を改めて考え直すことに焦点を当てた、新しいアプローチを取り入れています。
夜を通して十分な電力が確保できているときは、通常通りの生活が続きます。しかし電力が不足しそうな場合、Flying Sengokuharaが介入します。まず、電力を節約するだけでなく、状況が厳しいことを知らせるために、照明の照度を下げます。次に、優先度の低いコンセントの電源を切ります。申し訳ありません、エスプレッソは少しお待ちください！最後に、停電が発生し、さらに電力を節約する必要がある場合、すべての必須でない電力は遮断されます。
Flying Sengokuharaは、家全体の電力を完全にコントロールしています。コンセント、太陽光パネル、家電すべてです。また、各回路ブレーカーごとにどれだけ電力が使われているかも把握しています。この情報をもとに、少し慎重に電力を使うよう誘導したり、エネルギーの無駄を指摘したり、停電時でも消費量を制御することが可能です。
将来の発電量を予測し、計画を立てるには、天気を知ることが不可欠です。箱根の山間部は天候が非常に変わりやすく、仙石原が晴れていても、強羅では雨が降ることがあります。そのため、場所ごとのデータを太陽光発電予測モデルに取り込むために、気象観測所を設置しました。
屋根の上にはFlying Sengokuharaの「目」があります。33倍光学ズームの4Kビデオストリーミングカメラです。近くの大涌谷の景色や、風に揺れる木々を眺めるために使用しています。また、リアルタイムストリーミング実験や、AI生成コンテンツの注入などのデータソースとしても活用しています。
Flying Sengokuharaで聞こえる鳥のさえずりや虫の鳴き声は、まさに自然そのものの美しい歌です。東京のコンクリートの街中にいてもその音を聞けるよう、高品質のマイクを設置し、常時オーディオをストリーミングしています。これを「Flying Sengokuharaネイチャーラジオ」と呼びます。神保町のギャラリーホールウェイで聞くことができ、個人のアート制作にデータソースとして自由に活用できます。

How can we learn to be more sustainable? Generating power via solar feels good but if we don’t learn how to change our habits on a cloudy day we will just buy from the grid as usual. At Flying Sengokuhara we have taken a new approach focusing on making us rethink our approach to energy usage.
When enough power has been generated to last through the night everything is as usual. When the power is projected to run low Flying Sengokuhara steps up. First the lights are dimmed not only to save power but to let you know things are tight. Next low priority power outlets are switched off. Sorry, your espresso will have to wait! Finally, if there is a blackout and you really need to save power all non-essentials are turned off.
Flying Sengokuhara has complete control over the power in the house. The power outlets, solar panels and appliances. It also knows how much power is being used at each circuit breaker. With this knowledge it can guide you to be a little more conservative, point out the energy parasites and keep power usage under control even in a blackout.
In order to predict future power generation and plan accordingly, knowing when it will be sunny is essential. In the hills of Hakone the weather is notoriously unpredictable. Sengokuhara could be sunny while it is raining in Gora. That is why we installed a weather station to feed location specific data into our solar prediction model.
On the roof are the eyes of Flying Sengokuhara: a 33x optical zoom 4k video streaming camera. We use it for a relaxing view of nearby Owakudani or the leaves swaying in the wind. We also use it as a data source for real time streaming experiments, including AI generated content injection.
The bird songs and insect chirps at Flying Sengokuhara are the beautiful song of mother nature herself. In order to listen while in the concrete city of Tokyo we have placed a high quality mic that constantly streams audio. Call it Flying Sengokuhara Nature Radio. You can listen at Gallery Hallway in Jinbocho. Please feel free to use it as a data source in your own art.
