2018年3月開催のSXSWに向けて、SONYが持つ数ある新しい技術やプロトタイプを紹介する「WOW studio」というブースを展開。展示されたいくつかのアトラクションのうち、AR技術などを紹介する「A(i)R ホッケー」にインタラクティブプログラミングで参加しました。円形につくられたエアホッケーの卓上で、1,000fpsという高速度トラッキングセンサーがパックの動きを探知、アルゴリズムはその先の動きを予測し、触覚技術も駆使されています。体験者たちがエアホッケーで遊びはじめると、パックの動きに応じてさまざまな映像が投影されます。

We implemented the interactive programming for the one of the exhibits at the 2018 SXSW Sony booth called “A(i)R hockey”. A(i)R hockey was created with Sony’s cutting-edge technologies, such as a high-speed vision camera which tracks the movement of the objects at 1,000 frames-per-second.
