ProPILOT Park RYOKAN

We developed self parking items (slippers, low table, cushions, and TV remote control) for Nissan's ProPILOT Park RYOKAN, a campaign to introduce Nissan's automated parking technology at a Japanese traditional RYOKAN. We handled the technical aspects, from mechatronics to sensing.

The campaign itself was implemented in 3 phases. First, a promotional movie to introduce the concept of the project and automated parking items which invites viewers to apply for the campaign offer: the real experience at the “ProPILOT Park RYOKAN”. Second, an exhibit at Nissan Gallery in Yokohama. A small Tatami room was furnished at the gallery and visitors enjoyed watching the slippers park. And finally, one lucky family, out of almost 4,000 applicants, came to Hakone to experience the “ProPILOT Park RYOKAN”.
